Fishing in the Whiteface Mt. Area

The Adirondack Mountains are world famous for fishing, and the Whiteface Mountain area is no exception. It is home to the famous West Branch of the Ausable River. Besides the West Branch, there are many local ponds, Lake Placid, and the Saranac River that also offer good fishing opportunities.  The Willkomen Hof has fishing access to the West Branch just out the front door.  Guide service is available  too.  Also available for a fee, the discerning fisherman can fish the famous Wild  Rainbow Trout Preseve in Black Brook.
